The Written Assessment begins at 9:00 a.m.
**Test takers: Columbia International College has a limited number of seats available on each testing day.
Registration for all test dates may close early if maximum capacity is reached. We encourage you to register early.
By public transport - From the Hamilton GO bus or train station, turn right toward John Street. Turn left at the traffic lights and walk 2 blocks down to King Street. Turn left on King and walk to Jackson Square Mall. Take any bus that goes to McMaster University. Get off at Columbia International College which is adjacent to the University campus.
By car - Take the QEW/427 exiting onto the 403 to Hamilton. Exit at Main Street West. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left and immediately left again into the College Building. Free parking is available at the back of the building.
Columbia International College offers 3 types of workshops.
1. General Workshop (1-day):
This workshop introduces candidates to the structure of the test as well as reviews strategies for all components of the test.
This workshop is held on Saturdays.
Total time: 3 Hours - 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost: $75.00
2012 Dates:
May 5; May 26; September 8; October 6; November 3; and December 1
2. Skill Focused Workshop (2-days):
This workshop focuses on a specific module of your choice (reading, listening, writing or speaking). Get to know specific tips and strategies to improve areas of weakness. Candidates will experience sample question types and skill specific tests in the module chosen.
This workshop is held over 2 Saturdays.
Total time: 10 Hours - 9:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. each day
Cost: $200.00

May 26 & June 2; September 1 & 8; September 29 & October 6
October 27 & November 3; December 1 & 8
3. Complete Intensive Workshop (4-days):
This workshop focuses on all modules of the test. Candidates learn specific tips and strategies to be successful as well as experience a complete practice test.
This workshop is held over 4 Saturdays.
Total time: 20 Hours - 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day
Cost: $400.00
